Classic Kids, or Films the kids in your life have to see by 13 or else!

Wizard of Oz

Believe it or not, kids today do not see this movie like we did.  This film is a must!

You know the plot.  There are so many scene however that stand out: Dorothy (Judy) singing in the barnyard, the tornado, Dorothy opening the door to a world of color and then Glenda, the good witch.


Themes:  dreams, homesickness, friendship, loyalty, courage, and love.

Questions:  Why is this film considered a classic?  What does Dorothy learn? What do Dorothy's friends learn?  Were some scenes scary?  If so, why?
