Another amazing dance number, also Fosse inspired, and ya get to see him dance too!

The number from Kiss Me Kate, called "From this Moment on."

Check out this for dancers, Bob Fosse with Carol Haney (the gal from yesterday's Steam Heat number), Ann Miller, Tommy Rall, Bobby Van, and Jeanne Coyne.  Collectively these six dancers set up three distinct styles of dancing, with Miller's focus of course on tap, one couple on more traditional ball-room and then Fosse and Haney brining in his unique Jazz style.  Hermes Pan choreographed most of the dance numbers in this show, but Fosse helped, and you can really tell where, such as in this scene. Again we hear a scream from Haney and again it is delicious.  I love how they fly off the walls.  Kiss Me Kate, uses the music of Noel Coward to rework Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" a misogynistic nightmare at the end, but if you ignore that last speech from Kate, and just enjoy the other stuff you are in for a fabulous time, such as this dance number.  The film was one of the first to use a process meant to help Hollywood compete with Television, 3-D.  So, you will see a lot of quick movement toward the camera, or other effects to showcase depth.  Up next.... I draw from the same film, but focus on a dance number starring Miller.
